The Women Navigating Careers Breakfast (WNC)
Discover the inside track and establish new connections at independent schools during breakfast while garnering inside helpful tips from resume prep to mentoring to hiring and career development. Qualified teachers and administrators may register to attend and send resumes to the TOC from Oct 1 - May 1. This is a rewarding event for new and seasoned educators. Join us!
7:30AM - WNC Registration
WNC Panel Workshops
8AM - WNC Session 1 - Breaking Ins and Outs - From the resume to the hiring contract, seasoned administrators will share strategies for getting your foot in the door and planting your feet in a great school.
9AM - WNC Session 2 - Mentoring Must Do's - Now that you have been hired your networking is just beginning. This session helps you identify potential mentors, access organizations and tips to navigate the school's professional landscape. All of this coming from mentors and school administrators.
10AM - WNC Session 3 - Making that Next Step - So you completed a killer resume, got hired, secured a terrific mentor, now what. The story doesn't end here. What else should you be doing to get to the next level. Our seasoned professionals will share advancement strategies.
Registration to attend the WNC Breakfast and Morning Sessions is $35 per school and admits 1 person.
Each additional person per school is $30.
Registration for non school attendees is $30.
Student registration is $25 with college ID.
